Materials
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene): Lightweight, impact-resistant, dimensionally stable, and fully compatible with decorative electroplating surface treatment — the standard substrate for premium decorative hardware and consumer electronics exterior components
Surface Finish — Brushed Nickel Electroplating
Multi-layer electroplating: copper base coat for surface levelling + semi-bright nickel for corrosion resistance + bright nickel for reflectivity + satin nickel top coat
Brushed nickel finish: directional linear brush texture applied uniformly across all exterior faces prior to final sealing — producing a consistent warm satin metallic sheen
Resistant to UV exposure, humidity, and daily contact wear under normal indoor use conditions
Key Advantages
Three-Face Corner Coverage — The L-shaped wrap-around form covers all three exposed faces of a case corner in a single component — providing structural reinforcement and impact protection across the full corner geometry rather than the single-face coverage of flat corner plates or simple edge guards.
Impact-Distributing Rounded Corner — The deep rounded outer corner radius spreads drop impact energy across a larger contact area than a sharp-cornered protector, reducing peak stress concentration at the case corner joint and extending case shell service life under airline baggage handling conditions.
Permanent Screw-Fix Attachment — Six countersunk Torx screw fixings per unit provide a permanent, vibration-resistant attachment that maintains full structural contact between the protector and case shell throughout repeated drop impacts, stacking loads, and conveyor belt handling — far more reliable than adhesive-only or push-clip attachment methods.
Premium Hardware Coordination — Brushed nickel finish coordinates naturally with the brushed nickel zip pullers, combination locks, carry handles, and corner wheels specified on premium and luxury luggage collections, enabling a fully unified hardware finish language across the complete case exterior.
Countersunk Flush Screw Profile — Countersunk Torx screw heads sit flush with the protector face surface — no proud screw heads to catch on conveyor belts, snag luggage tags, or scratch adjacent cases during stacking and transport.
Full OEM Customization — Arm dimensions, corner radius, wall thickness, screw count and layout, and surface finish can all be specified to match exact case corner geometry and luggage brand hardware design requirements.

Manufacturing Process
Injection Molding — High-precision tooling produces the L-shaped corner body with consistent wall thickness, smooth exterior surfaces, accurately positioned countersunk screw holes, and a precisely radiused outer corner transition in a single moulding operation.
Surface Preparation — Moulded ABS parts undergo chemical etching and activation treatment to ensure strong, uniform electroplating adhesion across all three exterior arm faces and the outer corner radius surface.
Multi-Layer Electroplating — Parts pass through a controlled plating line: copper base layer for surface levelling, semi-bright nickel for corrosion resistance, bright nickel for reflectivity, followed by a satin nickel top coat covering all exterior surfaces uniformly.
Brushed Finishing — Directional linear brush texture is applied across all three visible arm faces and the outer corner radius surface prior to final sealing, producing a consistent satin grain direction across the full component exterior.
Screw Finishing — Included M3 countersunk Torx screws are electroplated to match the brushed nickel body finish for a unified hardware appearance on the finished case.
Dimensional & Appearance Inspection — Every batch undergoes dimensional verification of arm length, wall thickness, screw hole position, and outer corner radius, plus visual inspection of brush texture consistency and plating coverage completeness before packaging with fixings.
