Choosing the Right Material for Your Product

Five glass containers labeled ABS, PC, PP, POM, and one unlabelled, filled with different types of plastic pellets, arranged in a row on a black surface.

Material selection plays a critical role in the performance, appearance, and cost of your final product. At AQUAmate, we offer a wide range of materials—including ABS, PC, PP, stainless steel, brass, zinc alloys, silicone, and more, to meet the functional and aesthetic needs of various applications.

Whether you're looking for durability, heat resistance, corrosion protection, or a premium surface finish, our team will help you choose the most suitable material based on your design, manufacturing process, and market requirements.

Plastic Materials

Our plastic selections are suitable for components that require corrosion resistance, flexible design, and cost-effective production. The table below outlines common plastic types, their subgrades, key benefits, and typical usage in sanitary product applications.

Metal Materials

A collection of eight square metal samples labeled with different materials: brass, stainless steel, aluminum, zinc alloy (Zamak), mild steel, copper, titanium, and bronze. The samples are arranged in two rows on a gray background.

Metals are selected for their strength, durability, and aesthetic properties, especially in load-bearing or high-precision parts. We also work with alloys that are ideal for plating and corrosion resistance in wet environments.

Material Selection Support

Five people in a meeting room looking at mechanical parts on the table, with three young Asian workers in light blue uniforms on the left and two middle-aged white men in business suits on the right.

Choosing the right material is critical to product performance, regulatory compliance, and production efficiency. Our engineering team works closely with clients to assess:

 Water-contact safety (e.g., NSF/ANSI 61, WRAS)

Cost optimization based on material grade

Plating and surface finishing compatibility

Sustainability or recyclability goals

Mechanical and thermal requirements

Raw material availability and lead time
