Materials
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene): Lightweight, impact-resistant, dimensionally stable, and fully compatible with decorative electroplating surface treatment — the standard substrate for premium decorative hardware and consumer electronics exterior components
Surface Finish — Brushed Nickel Electroplating
Multi-layer electroplating: copper base coat for surface levelling + semi-bright nickel for corrosion resistance + bright nickel for reflectivity + satin nickel top coat
Brushed nickel finish: directional linear brush texture applied uniformly across all exterior faces prior to final sealing — producing a consistent warm satin metallic sheen
Resistant to UV exposure, humidity, and daily contact wear under normal indoor use conditions
Key Advantages
Integrated Volume Control Dial — The left-side knurled airflow volume dial is integrated directly into the bezel body — eliminating the need for a separate control component, reducing assembly part count, and providing an intuitive, in-position control that the driver or passenger can operate by feel without visual distraction.
Full-Assembly Brushed Nickel Coverage — Individual electroplating of bezel, louvre fins, and control dial before assembly ensures complete satin nickel coverage on all visible surfaces including fin edges, dial face texture, and inner bezel channel walls — with no unplated plastic visible from any normal viewing angle.
Adjustable Louvre Fin System — Three horizontal pivot fins with central control bar allow precise left-right airflow direction adjustment across the full vent aperture width, providing targeted personal airflow control for driver and passenger comfort.
Sculptured Bezel Presence — The wide, deeply radiused outer bezel frame gives the vent surround a substantial, premium visual mass on the dashboard face — transforming a functional HVAC outlet into a designed interior accent element consistent with high-grade automotive trim quality.
UV & Temperature Cycle Resistant — Brushed nickel electroplated surface withstands prolonged UV exposure through vehicle glazing, wide interior temperature cycling, and continuous hand contact on the control dial throughout the vehicle service life.
Full OEM Customization — Bezel size, louvre count and orientation, dial position and diameter, snap-fit tab layout, and surface finish can all be specified for exact vehicle model interior design and HVAC housing dimensions.

Manufacturing Process
Injection Molding — Bezel frame, louvre fin set, direction control bar, and volume control dial are injection-moulded as individual components with consistent wall thickness, accurate pivot pin geometry, snap-fit tab positions, and dial bore dimensions.
Surface Preparation — All individual ABS components undergo chemical etching and activation treatment for uniform electroplating adhesion across all exterior surfaces including fin edges and dial knurl texture.
Multi-Layer Electroplating — Individual components pass through a controlled plating line: copper base layer for surface levelling, semi-bright nickel for corrosion resistance, bright nickel for reflectivity, followed by a satin nickel top coat applied to each component separately before assembly.
Brushed Finishing — Directional linear brush texture is applied to bezel face and frame surfaces; diamond knurl texture on the dial face is plated directly over the moulded knurl geometry for consistent metallic texture coverage.
Sub-Assembly — Plated louvre fins are assembled into the bezel aperture on end-pin pivots with central control bar fitted; volume control dial is installed into the left-side bezel housing with correct rotational travel and detent feel verified.
Snap-Fit & Fit Verification — Completed assembly is test-fitted to the target vent housing for accurate bezel alignment, flush dashboard face integration, and fin and dial operation before packaging.
Dimensional & Appearance Inspection — Every batch undergoes dimensional verification, fin pivot smoothness check, dial rotation feel verification, and surface finish consistency inspection before shipment.
