Materials
Shell Body
High-impact ABS or PC/ABS engineering plastic — lightweight, durable, and dimensionally stable
Surface Finish
Advanced PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating:
Rose gold metallic finish
Options: rose gold, champagne gold, silver, gunmetal, black, or custom PVD colors
Excellent adhesion, hardness, and corrosion resistance
Key Advantages
Premium PVD Metallic Finish — Vacuum deposition process creates a thin, highly uniform rose gold coating with excellent color depth, reflectivity, and long-term stability.
Superior Durability — PVD coating provides high hardness, strong adhesion, and excellent resistance to scratches, fingerprints, and daily wear.
Clean Modern Aesthetic — Smooth rose gold surface delivers a luxurious, high-end look ideal for wireless earbuds and wearable electronics.
Full OEM Customization — PVD color, gloss level, and surface effect can be fully tailored for brand differentiation.
Consistent High-Quality Finish — Controlled vacuum process ensures uniform coating thickness and defect-free surfaces across complex curved geometries.
Key Features
Rose gold PVD-coated earbud shell
Smooth, reflective metallic surface
Compact rounded form with precise ear tip interface
Lightweight yet rigid ABS construction
Fully customizable PVD color options
Suitable for wireless earbuds and consumer electronics
Low-MOQ sampling supported through flexible production lines
Manufacturing Process (Focus: PVD Coating)
Injection Molding — Precision tooling produces the earbud shell with consistent wall thickness, accurate contours, and smooth surfaces ready for coating.
Surface Preparation — Parts are thoroughly cleaned, deburred, and pre-treated to ensure optimal adhesion for the PVD layer.
PVD Coating — Applied in a vacuum deposition chamber. Multi-stage process includes:
Surface activation and cleaning under vacuum
Deposition of thin metallic layers (typically titanium or zirconium based) to create the rose gold color
Precise control of coating thickness for uniform color, hardness, and adhesion
Optional protective top layer for enhanced durability and fingerprint resistance
Quality Inspection — Visual and instrumental checks for color consistency, coating thickness, adhesion strength, hardness, and surface defects.
Final Assembly & Packaging — Shells prepared for internal component assembly, final visual inspection performed, and parts packed according to customer specifications (bulk or private-label ready).
All PVD color options and coating formulations are available for OEM customization. Lead times and MOQs can be adjusted for sampling through mass production.
