Materials
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene): Lightweight, impact-resistant, and dimensionally stable
Sculpted rectangular frame with deep radiused corners and a slightly domed cross-section profile for a premium, three-dimensional appearance
Integrated rear mounting tabs or snap-fit clips for direct installation into speaker cabinet front baffle
Honeycomb Mesh Panel
ABS injection-moulded full-face hexagonal honeycomb mesh: uniform cell size and wall thickness across the entire panel face for consistent acoustic performance and visual regularity
Honeycomb geometry selected for maximum open area ratio, minimising acoustic interference and frequency colouration from the grille
Moulded as a single piece with the outer frame — no secondary mesh insert or adhesive bonding required
Surface Finish
Multi-layer electroplating applied uniformly across both the outer frame and the honeycomb mesh inner panel
Copper base coat + nickel mid layer + chrome top coat
Polished mirror chrome finish: high-gloss, deep reflective surface with no visible texture
Resistant to UV exposure, humidity, and handling contact under normal indoor and automotive use conditions
Note: All dimensions, mesh pattern type, cell size, frame profile, and finish are fully customizable for OEM audio and automotive supply orders.
Key Advantages
Full-Face Honeycomb Acoustic Mesh — Hexagonal honeycomb cell geometry delivers an open area ratio of approximately 70%, allowing clear, unobstructed sound passage across the full speaker cone area while maintaining grille structural integrity.
Seamless Full-Body Chrome Finish — Polished mirror chrome electroplating covers the outer frame and every cell wall of the honeycomb mesh in a single continuous plating process, creating a visually unified metallic surface with no paint, film, or secondary covering.
Single-Piece Moulded Construction — Frame and honeycomb mesh are injection-moulded as one integrated component, eliminating the assembly tolerances, adhesive bonds, and potential delamination risks associated with separate frame-plus-mesh constructions.
Premium Audio Aesthetic — High-gloss chrome grille face projects a premium, high-fidelity audio product identity at retail and in-vehicle, reinforcing perceived quality for mid-to-high-end speaker and audio brand positioning.
Lightweight & Rigid — ABS honeycomb construction provides an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio for a large-format grille panel, resisting flex and vibration-induced rattle during speaker operation.
Full OEM Customization — Overall size, cell pattern, open area ratio, frame depth, mounting tab layout, and surface finish can all be specified to match exact speaker cabinet and audio product design requirements.

Manufacturing Process
Injection Molding — High-precision tooling produces the integrated frame and honeycomb mesh as a single component, with consistent cell wall thickness, uniform cell geometry, and accurately positioned mounting features across every production unit.
Surface Preparation — Moulded ABS parts undergo chemical etching and activation treatment across all external surfaces — including the interior walls of each honeycomb cell — to ensure full, uniform plating adhesion throughout the mesh structure.
Multi-Layer Electroplating — Parts pass through a controlled plating line with extended immersion times to ensure complete coverage of the honeycomb cell walls: copper base layer for levelling, semi-bright nickel for corrosion resistance, bright nickel for reflectivity, followed by a polished mirror chrome top coat.
Surface Polishing — Pre-plate polishing of the outer frame surfaces ensures a flawless, sink-mark-free substrate for the final mirror chrome finish.
Acoustic & Dimensional Inspection — Every batch undergoes dimensional verification of frame geometry and cell uniformity, surface plating adhesion testing, and visual appearance inspection before shipment.
Flexible Production Lines — Supports standard catalogue sizes and fully custom OEM tooling, from prototype sampling through high-volume mass production for automotive Tier 1, home audio brand, and consumer electronics OEM supply.
