Materials
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene): Lightweight, impact-resistant, and dimensionally stable — the industry-standard substrate for designer toy and collectible figure production
Multi-part hollow construction: head, torso, arms, hands, legs, and feet produced as individual injection-moulded components and assembled prior to electroplating
Sculpted surface detailing: panel lines, eye sockets, ear pods, chest plate, knee guards, and boot cuffs are all moulded in relief for maximum visual depth under the chrome finish
Surface Finish
Multi-layer electroplating: copper base coat + nickel mid layer + chrome top coat
Gunmetal mirror chrome finish: deep, dark reflective metallic surface with a cool grey-silver tone — distinct from standard bright chrome in its darker, more premium character
Full-body coverage: all external surfaces including recessed panel details, curved transitions, and small-radius features are plated for a seamless, all-over metallic appearance
Base
Integrated flat ABS base feet for freestanding stability on flat display surfaces
Optional separate display base available (custom OEM)
Note: Character design, height, surface finish, and packaging are all fully customizable for brand collaboration, IP licensing, and OEM collectible orders.
Key Advantages
Full-Body Gunmetal Chrome Finish — Seamless electroplated coverage across every surface detail — panel lines, eye recesses, hand curves, and boot edges — gives the figure the visual presence of a solid cast-metal sculpture while remaining lightweight and cost-efficient to produce at scale.
Premium Designer Toy Aesthetic — Chibi-proportioned robot character design with oversized head, expressive eyes, and segmented armour body appeals to the global designer toy, art toy, and collectible figure market — a fast-growing category across Asia, North America, and Europe.
Deep Surface Detail Retention — Moulded-in relief detailing across the torso, limbs, and head reads clearly through the chrome finish, adding visual complexity and collector appeal without painting or secondary decoration processes.
Lightweight & Durable — ABS hollow construction keeps the figure lightweight for display, shipping, and gifting applications, while the electroplated chrome surface provides long-term resistance to handling wear, dust adhesion, and surface oxidation under normal indoor display conditions.
Broad Market Versatility — Suitable for designer toy retail, brand mascot merchandise, corporate gifting, premium unboxing experiences, trade show giveaways, and art toy limited edition releases.
Full OEM & IP Customization — Character geometry, height, finish type, packaging design, and hang tag or base branding can all be specified for brand collaboration and private label collectible projects.

Manufacturing Process
Concept & Tooling — Character geometry is developed in 3D CAD with electroplating surface requirements in mind: minimum draft angles, smooth surface transitions, and relief detailing designed to plate evenly without shadow or skip areas.
Injection Molding — Multi-cavity tooling produces individual figure components — head, torso, arms, hands, legs, feet — with consistent wall thickness, smooth exterior surfaces, and accurately positioned assembly snap points.
Component Assembly — Individual moulded parts are assembled into the complete standing figure prior to surface treatment, ensuring all panel line joints and segmented armour transitions are correctly aligned and gapless before plating.
Surface Preparation — Assembled ABS figures undergo chemical etching and activation treatment across all external surfaces to ensure strong, uniform plating adhesion including on curved, recessed, and small-radius detail areas.
Multi-Layer Electroplating — Figures pass through a controlled plating line: copper base layer for surface levelling, semi-bright nickel for corrosion resistance, bright nickel for reflectivity, followed by a gunmetal chrome top coat tuned for the characteristic dark, cool-toned mirror finish.
Post-Plate Inspection — Every figure is individually inspected for plating coverage completeness, surface defects, panel line clarity, and overall appearance quality before packaging.
Flexible Production Lines — Supports limited edition short runs, standard catalogue production, and high-volume OEM orders — with optional individual numbered base plates, authentication cards, and custom retail packaging.
